Mission statement

Through constant investment in dedicated people and advanced technology, Superior Mold and Die is committed to meeting the ever-changing manufacturing needs of our customers. By focusing on producing a high-quality product in a timely and cost-effective fashion, Superior Mold aims to develop a long-term and mutually-beneficial relationship with our customers.

History

• Founded in 1943 by Charles Yamokoski as a result of the tremendous manufacturing demand of World War II
• Specialists in the manufacturing of Injection, Transfer and Compression Molds
• Provider of tooling for both the Rubber and Plastic Industrial Markets

• In the fast-paced environment of manufacturing (specifically automotive), Superior Mold has survived and excelled by responding to the ever-increasing demands of the industry
• Our reputation as a first-class mold source is, and will continue to be, based on our ability to supply quality tooling in an expedient time frame. Therefore, Superior Mold stands behind its products 100%.
• Every project is tracked for progress and checked dimensionally throughout the manufacturing process in order to ensure the reliability and timeliness of or products.

Facility & Personnel

• Based in a suburb of Akron, Ohio, Superior Mold has approximately 32,000 square feet of manufacturing floor space
• Two small flat bed trucks allow for local deliveries, while more distant shipments can transported by common freight carriers
• Superior Mold is comprised of 18 employees
